Hans Christian

Hans Christian is a German-born cellist/multi-instramentalist and producer now based in the United States.
His first six years in the United States were spent in Los Angeles where he recorded, performed live or appeared on TV with Robbie Robertson, Gene Clarke, Sparks, John Waite, Billy Odol, members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Victoria Williams and others. He appeared on American Bandstand, Solid Gold, and on MTV with various artists and worked with notable producers T Bone Burnett, Anton Fier, Daniel Lanois, Thomas Barquee, Ben Leinbah and Shimshai.
To date, he has released 21 CDs, including six CDs with his group RASA, on Hearts of Space/Valley Entertainment, New Earth Records, Sounds True, Lejos Del Paraiso, and his own label Allemande Music and has appeared as a guest musician on recordings for Geggen, A&M, and Spirit Voyage.
For the last three decades, Christian has also been active as a producer in a variety of musical genres and was recently nominated as Producer of the Year 2022 by the Josie Music Awards.
As adjunct faculty/artist in residence with Ubiquity University he has performed as a solo cellist in and around Chartres Cathedral (Chartres, France) for six years (2008-2015) and collaborated with noted modern mystic Andrew Harvey on a project called Rumi Symphony. He owns and operates STUDIO 330 in Sturgeon May, MI.
